10 Reasons Why Your Business Needs Social Media
On any given day, at any given time, if you take a look at the people around you, there’s a good chance that many of them have their heads down looking at their phone screens. You should always respond to these inquiries as quickly as possible to show that you care about your customers and that you are there to help. This is one of the best ways to build a strong relationship with your customers.

Social media has completely changed the world of traditional public relations. Now that we have direct contact with writers and publications on social media, it’s much easier to connect with them. This is not to say that traditional public relations is no longer needed, but it tremendously cuts out the middleman and lets you get your word out to the masses without having to depend on the press.

Who are your competitors? What are they doing on social media, and how can you do it better? Social media allows us to anonymously check out what our competitors are doing. This is a great way to see what type of content their posting, who they follow, who follows them, what time of day they post and which type of post performed best. This is not an excuse to copy them, but to see what has worked for them and see how you can improve on it and make it better for your business.
